Due to the coronavirus, we temporarily shut down our gym, sauna, yoga studio, living room, backyard, dog run, sky lounge, workspace, and cinema and game room. However, as the situation progresses, we’re pleased to announce that we’re opening certain common spaces again. So read on to find out how we’re working extra hard to make sure these spaces remain a safe and fun place for everyone.
New Rules and Regulations
We understand the importance of physical distancing during this time, and we’re making every effort to help flatten the curve. With that in mind, we’re keeping the game and cinema room closed and opening the common spaces that allow enough space for you to use them safely. Although our gym, sauna, yoga studio, living room, backyard, dog run, sky lounge, and workspace will now be open for use, BRiX bans all gatherings unless you live in the same apartment. We ask that you properly wash your hands before entering the common area and refrain from touching your face. As an additional measure to keep you healthy, we’re monitoring all common areas by camera and enforcing $250 fines, restriction of access, or complete area shutdowns if these rules are not followed. We genuinely care about you, and thank you for your cooperation as we navigate this uncertain time together.
Hand Washing Stations
Another way we’re working hard to keep you safe and healthy is by making sure each common space has a hand washing station. Before entering the gym and yoga room, the conference room, the lounge, or the courtyard, please wash your hands at the vending station. If you’d like to use the sky lounge, please wash your hands in the sky lounge bathroom. Lastly, if you’re using our rooftop terrace, we ask that you wash your hands in the vestibule washrooms located before the terrace doors. It’s crucial to wash your hands for a minimum of 20 seconds, paying special attention to the backs of your hands, wrists, and in between your fingers. Use warm water and dry with a paper towel.
Mandatory Disinfecting and Cleaning
Although we are asking everyone to please thoroughly disinfect the area you’ve used before leaving, our staff will also be working to clean and sanitize everything for you. BRiX has stocked up on cleaning and disinfecting supplies, and we will ensure that all common spaces are being wiped down every four hours.
