Ask the hundreds of men and woman who have joined their skills to help build BRiX, a building construction has a life of its own: concrete expands with heat, metal shrinks with cold, energy runs through kilometres of wires, fresh air circulates, and newly planted trees slowly grow deeper roots. We’re inspired to think of the complexity of it all, of the interconnectedness.
There is yet another form of aliveness at BRiX. Walls and displays dedicated to exhibiting art. And if asked why, the answer can be found in Ossie Davis’ words:
‘’Any form of art is a form of power; it has impact, it can affect change. It can not only move us, it makes us move.’’
Simply put, BRiX will welcome art and artists, because BRiX believes in the power of art. We hope to make it effortless for BRiX tenants to enjoy cohabiting with art, discovering new worlds and be moved by them.
